THE RECOGNITION
In recent years the wines of Quinta da Lapa have been gathering attention and recognition. Our wines have consistently earned important medals and awards at both international and domestic wine competitions. In 2010, Portugal’s National Contest for Bottled Wines has awarded “Quinta da Lapa Red 2008 Reserve” with the prize of “Best Wine in Contest”.
In 2016 the wines of Quinta da Lapa conquered five medals at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, this achievement was then repeated in 2017. This is certainly one of the world’s most important wine competition in which 8750 wines from 51 countries were tasted by an international panel of 320 wine judges. By conquering three gold and two silver medals for two consecutive years in this competition, Quinta da Lapa stands out nationally as the small to mid-size wine producer to achieve the best results.
