Quinta da Lapa has a unique terroir, with clay-limestone soils and a microclimate with large temperature variations, where the days are warm and the nights are cold. “These conditions contribute to producing wines with a great evolutionary profile”, says Jaime Quendera, the company’s consulting winemaker, highlighting that “they are fresh, based on their natural acidity, have a high phenolic concentration, good fruit and a great capacity to evolve over time”.
All the work, from the vineyard to the winery, is controlled by the company’s professionals, according to each grape variety and vineyard plot, so that each wine produced has a distinct profile, depending on the grape variety from which it originated.
